AJ Madison Appliances

At Bluedot, we almost always recommend repairing appliances over buying new. But, if you do need to replace an appliance, we suggest looking for the blue and white Energy Star label, which meets evolving criteria set by the Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA says the program has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by four billion metric tons since its founding in 1992. As an added bonus, Energy Star appliances will generally reduce energy and water bills. Many also qualify for federal tax credits. The program doesn’t certify residential stoves, but we suggest going with induction. AJ Madison, an online appliance store based in Brooklyn, stocks a huge range of brands. They carry many induction stoves and around a thousand Energy Star products. In addition to air conditioners, washers, dryers, and refrigerators, they offer smaller items like air purifiers and dehumidifiers.
