Marley's Monsters

Sarah Dooley, the founder and owner of Marley’s Monsters, wants her customers to “live colorfully, tread lightly.” Over a decade ago, Dooley began making cloth diapers and other household items to reduce waste and save money. The company now employs over 70 people and manufactures everything in Oregon. Absorbent, colorful cotton flannel squares called UNpaper Towels are the company’s most popular item. Sets of 12 squares on a reusable kraft tube cost $38, and can replace at least 36 rolls of paper towels. Re-rolling them onto a dowel or tube, says one M.M.-devotee and friend of Bluedot, is “fun and kind of meditative.” Marley’s also makes coffee filters, dusters, wipes, cleaning cloths, sponges, facial rounds, UNtissues, and more. They even make Toilet UNpaper. The T(un)P has exceptionally positive reviews, many of which mention using the product to dry off after using a bidet.
