Beautycounter, a Certified B Corp, makes an array of face and body products that are free from 2800 potentially hazardous ingredients on the brand’s “Never List.” Top products include Skin Twin Creamy Concealer and Lid Glow Cream Shadow, both Allure Best of Beauty Award Winners; Sheer Genius Conditioning Lipstick, lauded by both InStyle and Glamour; and Beyond Gloss, featured in the Good Housekeeping Best Beauty Awards. Legislative activism is at the center of Beautycounter’s brand, and they actively advocate for reform in the personal care industry at a state and federal level, in the U.S. and Canada. The brand has committed to making 100% of its packaging recycled, recyclable, refillable, reused, or compostable by 2025. Beautycounter has set a goal of reach net-zero by 2050 — we encourage a company with such great ambition to set a sooner target!  As of May 2024, the brand's website is shuttered, with a brief announcement that "something new is on the way." For now, the products we know and love will continue to be available from Ulta.
