Ursa Major
Knowing the havoc that wind and cold can wreak on skin, Bluedotter Kelsey Perrett decided to upgrade her skincare routine before the Green Mountains’ slopes opened for ski season. “Forest-infused, adventure-inspired,” Vermont-based B Corp Ursa Major skincare turned out to be just the (lift) ticket she’d hoped for. Kelsey found the Brighten Up Vitamin C serum fulfilled its promise to enliven dull winter skin, while the Force Field Daily Defense Lotion with SPF 18 rehydrated while stopping snow-glare and moisture-thieving elements in their tracks. Ursa Major has transitioned many of its items to recyclable glass, easing Kelsey’s angst about adhering to a skincare routine with “a million plastic parts.” The company is actually a Plastic Negative brand, meaning it helps fund the removal of two plastic bottles from the environment for every bottle it sells.
