Founded in 2018, Danish B Corp LastObject aims to reduce waste with durable, reusable alternatives to single-use personal care items. Our advice columnist’s daughter loves her reusable swab, Last Swab, which replaces up to 1,000 single-use cotton swabs. Other best sellers include LastTissue, a stand-in for disposable pocket-packs of tissues, and LastRound, designed for makeup and nail polish removal. We also appreciate that all of their products come in minimal, plastic-free packaging. LastObject doesn’t pretend these swaps solve the waste crisis, but they do offer an easy, low-lift way to cut down on unnecessary trash.
