Jade Yoga

Many yoga companies talk about sustainability; family-owned JadeYoga really walks the walk in terms of its giving programs. In fact, the company’s president used to be an attorney with the Environmental Protection Agency. Jade makes all its mats in the U.S. from natural rubber, with no plastics or bioplastics. Through Trees for the Future, Jade plants one tree for every mat sold, with over 2.5 million trees planted so far. And, for each Harmony mat sold, Jade donates $5 to a different cause depending on the color of the mat. The Harmony mat also receives top marks from Wirecutter (although the Bluedotters with the most active practices both swear by Manduka's mat). JadeYoga has additional charitable partners for other products. For instance, they offset 25 pounds of carbon for every yoga strap purchased and donate soap for each bottle of mat cleaner sold. Don’t miss their charming new collaboration with the Grateful Dead.

Three yoga mats are lined up together, one blue, one deep red, and one navy, on a white background. All have five bears from the Grateful Dead bears doing yoga poses embroidered on the tops of the mats.
