Suri Toothbrush
While electric toothbrushes do a great job cleaning teeth, their plastic and electrical components can dirty the Earth. Certified B Corp Suri (short for Sustainable Rituals) has developed the first electric toothbrush created with both sustainability and dental health in mind. A 40-day battery life, 33,000 sonic vibrations per minute, and an exceptionally quiet motor compete with — and even exceed — the specs of other competitors. The brush has an attractive, slim aluminum body and a modular design that allows for parts repair and replacement. The plant-based brush heads have medium-soft bristles, and each three-pack comes with a prepaid mailer to send used heads back to Suri for recycling. Replacements cost just under $6 each, significantly less than Sonicare’s $10 to $15 brush heads. At $92 (or $116 with a bacteria-killing UV travel case), pricing is in line with other electric brushes on the market.
