Graza Olive Oil

If you shop in hip food stores or get recipes online, then chances are you’ve seen Graza olive oil (or received ads for it). The company sells two different single-varietal Spanish olive oils: “Drizzle” for cooking and “Sizzle” for finishing. Both come from Picual olives, with the most desirable October-harvest olives used to make Sizzle. It has a robust flavor, grassy and peppery, while Drizzle is smoother and more mellow. Until recently, Graza only offered its oil in plastic squeeze bottles. Despite the fact that they were recyclable and made with recycled plastics, we just couldn’t get behind a product that came only in plastic. Thankfully, the company just launched an eco-friendly refill program. Our marketplace editor, a prodigious user of olive oil, tested it out and was delighted. The refill cans work perfectly and contain the same flavorful oils. An optional subscription program means that you’ll never run out of what might be your pantry’s most important ingredient.
