Fishwife

As Bluedot’s marketplace editor, I always keep my eyes open for hot new products. It’s a bonus when they’re tasty. One of my favorite gifts of the last several years is tinned fish from Fishwife. This female-founded and -led company is perfect for the “seacuterie” moment: Americans have finally started to appreciate the tinned seafood, or conservas, that have long been popular in Spain and Portugal. Fishwife works with sustainable fisheries and canneries to source its wares. I’ve tried all of their delicious products save the newly released caviar, but I have no qualms vouching for that as well, seeing as they source it from California-based Tsar Nicoulai — another Bluedot Marketplace favorite.
