Araks Lingerie and Swim

Araks Yeramyan, the founder of lingerie, swim, and lounge brand Araks, makes refined yet sexy, sustainable underwear for everyday use. Pop art and memories of childhood visits to the Philadelphia Art Museum inspire her colorful collections. Everything is made in New York City, where Araks also has a retail store. Bras, bralettes, and panties come in many styles and colors from demure to eye-popping. Silk charmeuse pajamas with offset mother-of-pearl buttons are truly luxurious. And it’s easy to imagine hip shoppers wearing the silk slips while out and about in Arak’s Soho neighborhood. The lavender sleep sachets, made from upcycled wash silk from previous seasons, would make a lovely gift. Fabrics include a range of GOTS and Oeko-Tex 100 Certified cottons, organic linens, crepe, and stretch lace. Araks also uses Refibra, an upcycled cotton, and Reconyl, an upcycled nylon — innovative textiles that meet the Global Recycled Standard.
